PSY 601. Diagnosing and Treating Sleep Disorders: An evidence-based approach to the clinical treatment of insomnia, as well as a discussion of how to diagnose different kinds of sleep problems, due to a range of differing causes. PSY 602. Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions for Stress Management: A cognitive-behavioral approach to stress and stress management. The course focuses on 6 of the most efficacious strategies to beating stress, based on the research literature. The course consists of an original research paper with links to other research papers cited in the references, and also includes a course syllabus, and a user-friendly handout, CHEERS, that you can give to your clients. 4 units – Tuition $35


PSY 603. Communication Models for Improving Relationships: This is a communication-based course on couples therapy, which focuses on how to improve intimate communication, reduce arguments, and build trust in the relationship. The course consists of an original research paper with links to other research papers cited in the references, and also includes a course syllabus, and a handout, Easy as PIE, that you can use with your clients. 4 units – Tuition $35


PSY 604. A Jungian Exploration of Neolithic Sexual Imagery: In this original research, presented at the Archaeological Institute of America, Dr. D. W. Kreger uses a Jungian approach to decipher some of the primal imagery found in Neolithic petroglyphs. What came out of this research were definite patterns, useful to archaeologists in understanding certain basic sexual imagery related to shamanic or religious practices, from a wide variety of cultures in history. The research also illuminates aspects of both sexuality and personal growth that may affect us all. 3 units – Tuition $25
